A Typical Day in the Life of a Direct Support Professional (DSP)

As a DSP, you will engage with supported individuals, assist colleagues, and perform various tasks such as housekeeping, meal preparation, and attending meetings. Your role will focus on enhancing independence and fostering a positive living environment for those in our care.

Who You Are

  • Minimum age of 18 with a high school diploma or GED; previous experience in related roles is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a reliable work ethic.
  • Ability to meet scheduling commitments and exercise good judgment.
