Job Description
Caterpillar Inc. is looking for a full-time Electrician Maintenance CNC/PLC at their South Milwaukee, WI manufacturing facility.
Your work as an Electrician at Caterpillar contributes to creating stronger, more sustainable communities. You will be responsible for electrically troubleshooting and repairing various machine tools and related equipment, including CNC/PLC controlled machines like Fanuc, Siemens, and Allen Bradley.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Electrically troubleshoot and repair complex machine tools and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot, repair relay logic machines and CNC/PLC controlled machines.
- Operate measurement and feedback systems.
Required Qualifications:
- State Electrician License or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of electrical repair experience in an industrial setting.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting relay logic, CNC/PLC machines, and AC/DC drives.
Desired Qualifications:
- Ability to read electrical schematics and ladder logic.
- Experience in welding machinery, variable frequency drives, and programmable logic controllers.
- Skilled in preventative and predictive maintenance practices.
