Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Electrician Maintenance CNC/PLC to join Caterpillar Inc.'s team in South Milwaukee, WI. As part of a global team focused on building a better world, you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and repairing complex machine tools and related equipment.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Electrically troubleshoot and repair a variety of domestic and foreign machine tools and equipment.
- Operate and troubleshoot relay logic machines and CNC/PLC controlled equipment.
- Work with measurement and feedback systems such as scales and encoders.
Required Qualifications
- State Electrician License or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of electrical repair experience in an industrial setting.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting relay logic machines and CNC/PLC equipment.
- Experience with AC/DC drives and basic mechanical skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to read machine electrical schematics and ladder logic.
- Proficiency with machine tool prints/schematics and basic tools.
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to work overtime when necessary.
- Experience with predictive maintenance practices and various equipment repairs.
