Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Electrician Maintenance CNC/PLC to join Caterpillar Inc. at our South Milwaukee facility. Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Electrically troubleshoot and repair a variety of machine tools and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair relay logic machines and CNC/PLC controlled machines/equipment.
- Operate measurement and feedback scales and encoder systems.
Required Qualifications
- State of Wisconsin Electrician License or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical repair of machine tools.
- Experience with AC/DC analog and digital drives.
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting machine electrical schematics and ladder logic.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing welding machinery, variable frequency drives, and programmable logic controllers.
- Ability to work well individually and in a team environment.
Additional Information
- Shift: 2nd and 3rd shift available.
- Hourly Rate: $36.83 - $39.17/hour plus shift differential.
