Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Electrician Maintenance CNC/PLC to join Caterpillar Inc.'s team at our manufacturing facility in South Milwaukee, WI. As part of our global team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing complex machine tools and equipment, ensuring our operations run smoothly.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Electrically troubleshoot and repair various machine tools and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair relay logic and CNC/PLC controlled machines/equipment.
- Operate measurement and feedback systems for accurate diagnostics.
Required Qualifications
- State Electrician license or relevant experience in machinery maintenance.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical repair in an industrial setting.
- Experience with relay logic machines, CNC/PLC controllers, and AC/DC drives.
- Basic mechanical skills and ability to interpret electrical schematics.
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in troubleshooting welding machinery, variable frequency drives, and programmable logic controllers.
- Ability to work individually and in a team environment with strong problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work overtime and ensure machinery operates at optimal levels.
