Caterpillar Inc. is seeking an Electrician Maintenance CNC/PLC to join our manufacturing facility in South Milwaukee, WI. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various machine tools and equipment to ensure optimal operations.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Electrically troubleshoot and repair complex domestic and foreign machine tools, CNC/PLC controlled machines, relay logic machines, and related equipment.
- Operate measurement and feedback scales and encoder systems.
Required Qualifications
- State of Wisconsin Electrician License or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical repair of machine tools in an industrial setting.
- Experience with relay logic, CNC/PLC machines, AC/DC drives, and basic mechanical skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and ladder logic.
- Proficiency in operating basic tools.
- Skilled in preventative and predictive maintenance practices.
- Experience with welding machinery, variable frequency drives, and programmable logic controllers.
Additional Information
- Hourly rate: $36.83 - $39.17/hour plus shift differential.
- Full-time 2nd and 3rd shift positions available.
