Job Description
Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a dedicated Electrician Maintenance CNC/PLC to join our team at the manufacturing facility in South Milwaukee, WI. As part of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and repairing a variety of complex domestic and foreign machine tools and related equipment, including CNC/PLC controlled machines.
Job Duties
- Electrically troubleshoot and repair machine tools and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair relay logic machines and CNC/PLC controlled machines.
- Operate measurement and feedback scales and encoder systems.
Required Qualifications
- State license as an Electrician, Journeyman Electrician, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical repair in an industrial environment.
- Experience with relay logic machines and CNC/PLC controlled machines.
- AC/DC analog and digital drives experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret machine electrical schematics.
- Intermediate proficiency in reading machine tool prints/schematics.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing welding machinery, variable frequency drives, and programmable logic controllers.
Additional Information
- Full-time position with 2nd and 3rd shift available.
- Hourly pay ranging from $36.83 to $39.17 plus shift differential.
