Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Electrician Maintenance CNC/PLC to join Caterpillar Inc.'s team in South Milwaukee, WI. As part of our global team, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to building stronger and more sustainable communities.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Electrically troubleshoot and repair complex domestic and foreign machine tools and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair relay logic machines and CNC/PLC controlled machines/equipment.
- Operate measurement and feedback scales and encoder systems.
Required Qualifications
- License Credential or equivalent experience in electrical/electronics.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical repair of machine tools.
- Proficiency with AC/DC analog and digital drives and basic mechanical skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret machine electrical schematics and ladder logic.
- Skilled in preventive and predictive maintenance practices, welding machinery, variable frequency drives, programmable logic controllers, and HVAC equipment troubleshooting and repair.
