Environmental Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Environmental Technician to join Goucher College's team. This role, reporting to the Associate Director and Supervisors of Environmental Services, involves maintaining cleanliness in college buildings while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include vacuuming, mopping, cleaning offices, restrooms, and public areas, as well as trash collection and snow removal. The position requires a combination of training, experience, and education related to custodial cleaning, with a minimum of three years of custodial experience preferred.

Job Functions

• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust various areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies.
• Collect trash, recyclables, and assist with snow removal.
• Report maintenance issues and ensure work meets standards.

Requirements

• Combination of related training, experience, and education.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three years of custodial experience required.
• Floor care training is a plus.

Starting Salary: $15.27 per hour.
