Facilities Equipment Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Facilities Equipment Engineer to join Middle River Aerostructure Systems, a world-leading manufacturer of aerospace components. As a Facilities Equipment Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing industrial equipment availability through predictive and preventative measures, maintaining critical spares, and ensuring equipment uptime. Your responsibilities will include tracking equipment spares, coordinating maintenance tasks, and driving machine checks to optimize overall equipment performance.

Responsibilities

• Support and update equipment listings to maximize uptime.
• Define and secure critical spares for production equipment.
• Create and maintain complex Excel files with VBA scripting for spares tracking.
• Collaborate with teams to perform efficient preventative maintenance.
• Establish equipment uptime health board to monitor performance.
• Assist in budget development and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and VBA tools.
• Basic understanding of CNC and Robotic equipment.
• Ability to read OEM drawings and Electrical Schematics.

Desired Characteristics

• 3+ years' experience in Aerospace or Manufacturing.
• Mechanical and Electrical Drawing interpretation skills.
• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement and CAD design.
• Experience with additive manufacturing and inventory management.
