Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in creating a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases and maintain store cleanliness
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Conduct store inventory counts and monitor accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
- Follow company policies and procedures while upholding security and confidentiality standards
Physical Demands
- Stock merchandise and place products on shelves
- Perform various physical tasks within the store
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 45 pounds
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Provide excellent customer service
- Operate a cash register efficiently
- Operate store equipment properly
- Interpret and apply company policies
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Work independently and within a team
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
