Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. In this role, you will collaborate with the ALDI team, provide outstanding customer service, and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures
- Follow company policies while maintaining confidentiality and security
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Competence in using equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers
- Capability to perform general cleaning tasks
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is advantageous
