Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. Your collaboration with the ALDI team and dedication to exceptional customer service will be key to the store's success.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers with their needs
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and store operations
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Comply with all company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and friendly customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safely operate store equipment
- Ability to follow cleaning standards and company policies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively
- Meet state and local requirements for product handling
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
- Combination of education and experience is considered
