Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will receive comprehensive training in all aspects of store management to prepare you for leading your own store successfully. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staffing needs, creating operational strategies, and mentoring team members.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day store activities to deliver outstanding customer service
- Understand and communicate the company's core values to foster a team-oriented environment
- Handle customer concerns and ensure resolutions
- Maintain store signage and product quality
- Participate in the hiring process and manage employee schedules
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide training opportunities
- Manage store budgets and monitor inventory levels
- Ensure a safe working environment for all stakeholders
Requirements:
- Minimum age requirement of 18
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Excellent customer service and leadership skills
- Understanding of company policies and procedures
- Prior retail experience preferred
- Effective communication and organizational abilities
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 3 years retail experience
- Prior management experience is a plus
