Job Description

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join Aldi, a leading retail company. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will be immersed in all aspects of store operation and management, preparing you for a successful career in retail leadership. Your responsibilities will include overseeing day-to-day store activities, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staffing needs, and developing operational strategies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily store operations to deliver top-notch customer service.
• Implement company strategies and values to foster teamwork among employees.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain store signage, product quality, and freshness standards.
• Participate in hiring store personnel and managing employee schedules.
• Set performance expectations, provide training opportunities, and conduct evaluations for team members.
• Manage store payroll, budgets, and inventory levels.
• Ensure a safe and organized store environment for employees and customers.

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent customer service and leadership skills.
• Strong understanding of retail policies, procedures, and budget management.
• Proficiency in operating cash registers and store equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 3 years of progressive experience in a retail setting.
• Prior management experience is a plus.
