Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeping Manager to lead our team at Holiday Inn and Suites Gateway. As the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of all guest rooms and public areas to the highest standards. Additionally, you will oversee the housekeeping personnel, handle guest complaints, manage supplies, and work closely with other departments to maintain a seamless operation.

Responsibilities

  • Create and supervise daily assignments for housekeeping staff.
  • Train, schedule, and manage the performance of housekeeping personnel.
  • Inspect guest rooms daily to ensure cleanliness standards.
  • Handle guest complaints and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, uniforms, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance for repairs and testing of new products.
  • Conduct monthly departmental meetings and initiate staff motivation plans.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; 3+ years of hotel operations experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of hotel housekeeping and cleaning techniques.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other related software.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
