Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Kentucky Medication Aide to join our team at Calumet Trace Senior Living. As a Medication Aide, you will be responsible for safely administering medications and treatments to our residents, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining a responsible demeanor to earn the trust of our residents.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments following the prescribed schedule and protocols.
• Document accurately on medication records and resident charts.
• Notify appropriate personnel of any changes in resident conditions.
• Assist with medication records and re-ordering as necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the medication room and cart.
• Provide assistance with various medical equipment and procedures.
• Take vital signs and weights accurately.
• Complete incident reports and notify relevant parties of any incidents or errors.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency in English preferred.
• Willingness to work with the elderly population.
• CPR certification required.
• Pass a criminal background check.
