Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Lead Human Resources Technology Analyst with expertise in Workday and HR technologies to join our team at Discover Financial Services. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing Discover's HCM processes through the continuous improvement and configuration of the Workday platform. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the effective utilization of Workday and drive solutions that meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Workday configuration and solutioning in partnership with Product owners.
  • Collaborate with the People Analytics team for reporting and dashboard enhancements.
  • Work with the IT team on integrations and building Workday Extend apps.
  • Provide guidance and share Workday expertise with HR Technology Analysts.
  • Support release management and identify enhancement solutions.
  • Develop and deploy data interfaces and systems integrations with technology teams.
  • Manage decentralized projects and programs, delivering oversight and continuous improvement.
  • Research system trends and stay updated on HRMS developments.
  • Recommend process improvements, innovative solutions, and policy changes.
  • Manage and resolve HR system issues and ensure data quality.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Human Resources.
  • 6+ years of experience with Human Capital Management Systems.
  • 3+ years of configuration experience in at least 2 Workday modules.
  • 2+ years of advanced excel experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Workday partner or Pro Certification strongly desired.
  • Strong communication skills for customer consultations.
  • 2+ years of Workday consulting or implementation experience.
  • Experience with EIBs and Calculated fields preferred.
  • Proficiency in Agile scrum methodology, Service Now, and Jira applications.

Compensation

The base pay for this role ranges between $75,500.00 to $127,900.00, with additional incentives provided. Pay is dependent on factors such as experience, education, and location.
