Keene Young Mens is seeking a Lead Teacher to provide direction for the childcare classroom and implement the program curriculum while focusing on fostering a quality experience for children and parents. Responsibilities
- Implement curriculum within established guidelines.
- Design and execute daily lesson/activity plans.
- Supervise children, classroom, and activities.
- Conduct ongoing observations and evaluations of each child.
- Engage in effective communication and maintain positive relationships with parents.
- Maintain program site, equipment, and required records.
- Participate in various program activities and training sessions.
Requirements
- Meet educational and experience qualifications per NH state law.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Obtain CPR/First Aid/AED certifications and Child Abuse Prevention training within 30 days of hire.
- Complete health form within 30 days of hire, renewed every 3 years.
- 2+ years of experience working with children preferred.
- Plan and implement age/developmentally appropriate activities.
