Keene Young Mens is seeking a Lead Teacher to provide direction for the childcare classroom and implement the program curriculum while focusing on fostering a quality experience for children and parents. Responsibilities

  • Implement curriculum within established guidelines.
  • Design and execute daily lesson/activity plans.
  • Supervise children, classroom, and activities.
  • Conduct ongoing observations and evaluations of each child.
  • Engage in effective communication and maintain positive relationships with parents.
  • Maintain program site, equipment, and required records.
  • Participate in various program activities and training sessions.

Requirements

  • Meet educational and experience qualifications per NH state law.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Obtain CPR/First Aid/AED certifications and Child Abuse Prevention training within 30 days of hire.
  • Complete health form within 30 days of hire, renewed every 3 years.
  • 2+ years of experience working with children preferred.
  • Plan and implement age/developmentally appropriate activities.
