Job Responsibilities
The LPN will provide quality care within the scope of practice outlined by the state nurse practice act. Responsibilities include monitoring patients, administering medications, wound care, vital sign monitoring, and collaborating with the medical team.
Minimum Requirements
- Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program
- Active LPN license in the state of employment
- CPR certification
- Compliance with state laws and regulations
Essential Functions
The LPN will utilize a systematic approach to patient care, implement nursing procedures, assist in developing teaching plans, and document patient interactions accurately.
