Salary: $25 - $28 per hour

We are seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency and Critical Care department at Capital District Veterinary Referral Hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for triaging patients, coordinating with veterinarians, performing laboratory procedures, utilizing imaging modalities, and assisting in anesthesia management.

Responsibilities

• Triaging patients and managing client communication.
• Assisting veterinarians in patient assessment, diagnostics, and treatments.
• Performing laboratory procedures and processing samples.
• Utilizing imaging for patient evaluation.
• Assisting in anesthesia management and monitoring.

Requirements

• Must be licensed in the state of New York.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proficiency in computer skills for electronic medical records.
