LPN ( Licensed Practical Nurse) - Full Time (No Nights, No Weekends)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Valley Counseling Services, which is part of Family & Community Services, Inc. This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week, offering a stable schedule without nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication under the supervision of the Medical Director and other VCS physicians.
• Provide emergency care and first aid services as needed.
• Attend to client needs regarding medication administration and health issues.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and committees as required.
• Maintain accurate documentation according to policies and regulations.
• Ensure effective communication with clients and staff for coordinated care.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in psychiatric nursing, medication administration, and crisis intervention.
• Training in First Aid, CPR, and de-escalation techniques.
• Licensed Practical Nurse certification in Ohio with medication administration training.
• Valid Ohio Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Previous experience in mental health nursing preferred.

Requirements

• Practical nursing degree from an accredited institution.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending and walking.
• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work effectively in a team environment.

Compensation

Hourly wage: $21-21
