Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Subacute Rehabilitation Unit at LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, MD. As an LPN in Hall 1, you will work full-time with a weekend commitment on the night shift (7:00pm-7:30am) to provide essential nursing care to residents with high complexity needs.
Unit Summary
Hall 1 is a 40-45 bed subacute rehabilitation unit that offers residents daily activities and comprehensive support services. Staff members in Hall 1 play a crucial role in delivering compassionate care and assistance to those in need.
Job Summary
Reporting to the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing, the LPN will utilize nursing principles and assessment skills to develop and implement individualized care plans. The role involves attending to daily unit operations, assuming leadership responsibilities as necessary, and ensuring resident needs are met.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in nursing or equivalent.
- Less than one year of experience.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a diploma.
- Valid LPN license and AHA CPR certification.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with medical equipment.
