Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Subacute Rehabilitation Unit at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. In this full-time role including night shifts and weekend commitments, you will be responsible for providing personalized nursing care to residents and assisting in the daily operations of Hall 1, a 40-45 bed unit specializing in sub acute rehabilitation with complex needs.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized nursing care plans under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing.
- Assume leadership responsibilities as needed and ensure residents' needs are met.
- Utilize basic physical assessment skills to deliver high-quality care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a License for Practical Nursing and AHA CPR Certification.
- Less than one year of experience required.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with medical equipment such as IV pumps, EKG machines, and specialty beds.
