Summary
LEVINDALE HOSPITAL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Subacute Rehabilitation Unit. In this role, you will work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing to provide individualized care to residents. The ideal candidate will demonstrate compassion, motivation, and dedication to high-quality patient care.
Unit Summary
Hall 1 is a 40-45 bed long-term care unit specializing in subacute rehabilitation for residents with complex needs. The team at Hall 1 engages residents in daily activities and provides comprehensive services and support.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Assist in the daily operations of the unit and take on leadership responsibilities when necessary.
- Utilize basic physical assessment skills to meet residents' needs.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Practical Nursing license.
- AHA CPR Certification.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with medical equipment.
- Less than one year of experience required.
