Manufacturing Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee our production operations at Select Industries Corp. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and quality of manufacturing processes, supervising employees, and optimizing day-to-day activities to reduce costs while maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production plans and work schedules to maximize employee, equipment, and material utilization.
• Assist the Manager in meeting production rates, schedules, quality, and safety requirements.
• Train and develop associates, ensuring performance expectations are met.
• Analyze data to identify causes of scrap and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with leadmen to enhance job output and standard rate conformance.
• Address safety issues promptly and coordinate equipment maintenance schedules.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience with hiring responsibilities.
• Background in manufacturing or leadership, preferably in metal stamping.
• Understanding of Stamping, Dies, and Presses with experience in the automotive industry.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to foster team cohesion.

Physical Demands

• May involve standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in high-noise environments.
• Require eye/hand coordination and ability to reach overhead and bend.
