Job Title: Fleet Maintenance Mechanic
We are currently seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Johnson County, KS. With a starting wage of $30/hr or higher, depending on experience, along with a $3,000 sign-on bonus*, this position offers a great opportunity for automotive enthusiasts looking to excel in a dynamic environment.
As part of the Transdev team, you will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the safety of our fleet of 93 vehicles, while benefiting from various perks such as a $1,500 initial tool allowance, ASE certification bonuses, comprehensive benefits, and ongoing training.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on vehicles to guarantee customer safety.
- Diagnose and repair various vehicle components including brakes, engine tune-ups, and transmissions.
- Complete work orders accurately and maintain detailed records of maintenance.
- Conduct preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and annual maintenance checks.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license and CDL or willingness to obtain one.
- 3+ years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
- Proficiency with mechanic's tools and ASE certifications are advantageous.
- Subject to DOT drug testing.
