MEDICATION TECHNICIAN (CNA) - AREA DIRECTOR - LIBERTY COMMONS

Job Description

Liberty Healthcare Management is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced MEDICATION TECHNICIAN (CNA) - AREA DIRECTOR to join our team at Liberty Senior Living. This is a full-time position with responsibilities that include assisting with admissions, developing care plans, supervising medication administration, coordinating resident services, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admissions process, including interviewing, assessing, and paperwork completion.
• Develop and implement care plans for residents and obtain necessary orders from physicians.
• Supervise medication administration and ensure compliance with state rules and regulations.
• Train and supervise resident care staff, monitor performance, and provide ongoing quality assurance.
• Coordinate resident services with other professionals as ordered by physicians.
• Maintain proper documentation, conduct assessments, and update families on resident status.
• Ensure staff coverage, take on-call duty, and respond to emergencies as needed.

Requirements

• Certified Nurse Aide I or II with 3 years of supervisory experience in ACH, CRCF, or Long-Term Care.
• Completion of state Medication Administration course and passing the med-aide test if applicable.
• Experience in geriatric and dementia care, excellent communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively.
• High school diploma or equivalent, 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to follow orders, maintain professionalism, and uphold safety standards.
