Merchandise Handler - Overtime Available

Job Description

We are seeking energetic and dedicated Merchandise Handlers to join our team at Slumberland Furniture. As a Merchandise Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently storing, moving, and distributing products within our warehouse. This role involves maintaining inventory accuracy, providing training to team members, and ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and timely.

Primary Objectives

• Efficiently move and store merchandise to optimize space.
• Handle incoming and outgoing products with precision and care.
• Utilize the point of sale system to manage inventory flow.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and guidance to team members.
• Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Adhere to safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic math skills and understanding of tools and hardware components.
• Valid driver's license and basic computer knowledge.
