Job Description

We are looking for an Operations Supervisor I based in Denver, CO to join our team at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. As part of our fast-growing organization, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient and safe loading/unloading of freight, managing work assignments, and ensuring a positive and safe work environment for our team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control resources for timely, damage-free, and safe freight loading/unloading.
• Maintain load plans and ensure proper load balance for safe vehicle operation.
• Assign job tasks according to schedules and monitor performances.
• Provide training, feedback, and recommendations for personnel.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment and adherence to hazardous materials handling protocols.
• Work collaboratively to achieve department goals and uphold company values.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Prior experience in Service Center, transportation, or related fields.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of freight handling techniques and regulations.
