Job Description

We are looking for an Operations Supervisor I to join our team in Denver, CO. As part of ABF Freight, an ArcBest company, you will play a vital role in overseeing the safe and efficient loading and unloading of freight during assigned shifts.

General Duties

• Plan, supervise, and control available resources for timely and safe freight operations.
• Maintain load plans and ensure proper load balance for safe vehicle operation.
• Assign job tasks, provide training, and monitor performance.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment, emphasizing the safe handling of materials.
• Work collaboratively in a team setting to achieve department goals.
• Support the organizational values of creativity, integrity, collaboration, growth, excellence, and wellness.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience: Supervisory experience and knowledge of freight handling techniques desired.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Other Requirements: Familiarity with freight operations and handling techniques.
