Job Description

We are looking for an Operations Supervisor I to join our team in Denver, CO at ArcBest, ABF Freight. As a vital part of our operations, you will be responsible for planning, supervising, and controlling resources to ensure timely, safe, and damage-free loading and unloading of freight during assigned shifts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control available resources for efficient freight handling.
• Maintain proper load plans and ensure load balance for safe vehicle operation.
• Assign job tasks, coordinate work assignments, and monitor performance.
• Provide training, feedback, and recommendations for workers.
• Ensure clean, safe working environment and handle hazardous materials responsibly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous service center or transportation experience, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• General knowledge of freight handling techniques.
