Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and experienced OSP Team Lead to join our team at Mercury Broadband in Muncie, IN. As a part of our fiber construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the construction of a Fiber-to-the-Home network build within the Midwest region. This role involves maintaining a safe work environment, managing construction field operations, and ensuring project success within the specified budget and timeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain safety standards and oversee construction field operations.
- Coordinate and schedule field activities and resources to complete the scope of work.
- Identify and resolve issues that may cause delays, reporting to the General Manager and recommending solutions.
- Ensure the success of construction projects by meeting schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals and project success.
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects through to completion.
- Communicate progress and coordinate project activities with stakeholders internally.
Skills and Requirements
- Knowledge of network drawings, route maps, and scopes of work.
- Experience in operational improvement and project management.
- Deep understanding of outside plant fiber optic network infrastructure.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and design scalable construction processes.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience in fiber network deployments.
