Job Description: Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker at ALDI
Join our team at ALDI as a Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker to enhance the shopping experience for our customers in a collaborative environment. In this role, you will operate registers, stock shelves, maintain store appearance, and provide excellent customer service. This position offers a dynamic work environment with new challenges each day.
Position Type:
Part-Time
Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to direct leader
- Uphold security and confidentiality of documents and data
- Perform cashier and stocker responsibilities as assigned
Cashier Responsibilities:
- Process customer purchases and provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain cleanliness, organize merchandise, and monitor inventory
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures
Stocker Responsibilities:
- Stock shelves with fresh products and follow merchandising guidelines
- Organize inventory, operate machinery and ensure safety procedures
Qualifications:
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Effective communication skills and teamwork abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail work experience is a plus
- Knowledge of company products and services
