Location: Barre, Montpelier, Hartford, Springfield, and surrounding areas in Vermont (Remote/On-Site Client Service Hybrid Position)
About the Company
Mount Prospect Academy is dedicated to empowering Vermont's youth and families. We are expanding our team and seeking a Permanency Clinician to provide individual and family therapy to at-risk and adjudicated youth in Central/Southeastern Vermont.
Responsibilities
- Lead clinical oversight on all assigned cases regarding permanency and family and youth-guided treatment.
- Provide individual and family therapy, establish treatment goals, and make clinically appropriate recommendations.
- Support the Permanency Coordinator in goal-oriented client and family interactions.
- Offer clinical support to individuals and families to overcome obstacles and develop support networks.
- Assist in developing effective parenting skills, positive communication, and behavioral plans.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in social work, mental health counseling (or related field).
- 1+ year of experience in human services.
- Valid driver's license with active car insurance and willingness to travel.
