Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician to join TOYOTI1 on a full-time basis. As part of the team, you will play a crucial role in utilizing reliability equipment to analyze and predict potential machine failures, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and detect potential machine failures using reliability equipment.
• Review and analyze data to predict pending failures.
• Utilize infrared, vibration, and ultrasonic technology for daily data collection.
• Collaborate with maintenance planners to schedule repairs during planned downtime.
• Detect air, steam, and nitrogen leaks using reliability devices.
• Recommend immediate repairs for equipment to avoid catastrophic failure.
• Collect oil samples for lab test analysis.
• Support Plant Operations and Maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Attend reliability and maintenance meetings as required.
• Initiate plans to improve the life of manufacturing equipment.
• Stay current in predictive maintenance technology through job-related training.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in industrial maintenance or a minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Thorough understanding of root cause failure analysis.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Military experience or certifications in Pdm are a plus.
