Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician to join TOYOTI1. As a Full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in utilizing reliability equipment to predict potential machine failures and optimize maintenance schedules, thereby minimizing downtime effectively. Your responsibilities will include analyzing data, using infrared and ultrasonic technology, submitting work orders, and collaborating with maintenance planners to ensure timely repairs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and detect potential machine failure using reliability equipment.
• Predict pending failures by reviewing and analyzing gathered data.
• Utilize infrared, vibration, and ultrasonic technology for daily data collection.
• Collaborate with maintenance planners to schedule repairs during planned downtime.
• Detect air, steam, and nitrogen leaks using reliability devices.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks such as changing filters, oil, and grease.
• Monitor equipment for issues and recommend immediate repairs to prevent catastrophic failure.
• Provide support to minimize unplanned downtime due to machine failure.
• Attend reliability and maintenance meetings as required.
• Initiate plans to improve manufacturing equipment lifespan.
• Stay current with predictive maintenance technology through job-related training.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and recommend necessary upgrades or replacements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in industrial maintenance or minimum 5 years' experience in reliability technology.
• Military experience considered; PDM certifications a plus.
• Understanding of root cause failure analysis and ability to work independently or in a group.
