Job Description
Corewell Health is currently seeking a full-time Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a Radiology Technologist, you will perform accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology. The position requires good clinical skills, attention to detail, and adherence to radiation protection principles.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following patient verification and physician orders.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document in medical records.
- Ensure patient safety during procedures.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and follow quality control procedures.
- Provide patient education and procedural information.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms.
- Assist in training new hires and students.
Requirements
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- Registered with the ARRT within 6 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with the role.
