Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. This full-time position involves performing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology, ensuring the highest quality of patient care and image production. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, adhere to radiation protection principles, and contribute to a patient-centered care approach.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following proper procedures and protocols.
- Acquire patient history and ensure patient safety during procedures.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and maintain quality control.
- Communicate effectively with medical staff, peers, and patients.
- Assist in training new hires and students as needed.
Requirements
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support Certification required.
