Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Special Education

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join the team at Sherwood Autism Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with autism and developmental disabilities to lead independent lives. As an RBT, you will play a vital role in implementing Applied Behavior Analysis principles, supporting students in various activities, and ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction and support using Applied Behavior Analysis techniques.
• Facilitate community and on-site activities according to behavior support plans.
• Implement and record progress on Individual Education/Service Plans (IEP/ISP).
• Organize student-accessed environments and maintain necessary supplies.

Requirements

• RBT certification.
• Experience in special education and working with individuals with autism.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, communicate effectively, and prioritize tasks.
• Must be detail-oriented, positive, and customer service-oriented.
