Registered Nurse Position Summary

A Registered Nurse (RN) at VCHS delivers quality care, acts as a patient advocate, and ensures a safe environment. The RN is responsible for patient care, supervising nursing activities, and promoting best practices.

Registered Nurse Minimum Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • State RN Licensure, active CPR certification
  • Knowledge of state laws and regulations
  • Clinical competencies

Registered Nurse Compensation

  • Salary: $44 - $48 / hr

Registered Nurse Essential Functions

  • Maintain records, administer medications, monitor patients
  • Coordinate care with healthcare team, modify treatment plans
  • Instruct on health education, prepare rooms and supplies
  • Evaluate diagnostic tests, additional duties as assigned
