Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Registered Nurse to join our team at Denver Health. The position involves working in the fast-paced 6A Medical/Surgical department, where you will provide excellent patient care and collaborate with the healthcare team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and ensuring quality outcomes through evidence-based practices.
Responsibilities
- Assess individual, family, and community health needs.
- Maintain accurate patient records and reports.
- Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes effectively.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Administer medications, treatments, and educate patients on health matters.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
- Current BLS and RN licenses.
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical practices and equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently in challenging situations.
