Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Oncology Infusion

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Ambulatory Oncology Infusion team at Central Vermont Medical Center. In this role, you will provide top-quality patient care following the guidelines of the Oncology Nursing Society, Vermont Board of Nursing, and our medical center policies. You will work closely with providers and the Practice Manager to ensure the highest standards of care for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate and personalized care to oncology patients during infusion treatments.
• Maintain a high level of clinical knowledge and professionalism while working with a multidisciplinary team.
• Adhere to standards for chemotherapy/biotherapy administration and patient education.
• Ensure strict confidentiality and privacy for all patient information.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Professional Nursing Education Program.
• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont.
• Preferred certification as an Oncology Certified Nurse and required Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification.
• One to three years of hospital or office nursing experience with a minimum of 1 year in ambulatory oncology infusion.
