Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Matheny School and Hospital. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to individuals with complex developmental disabilities in our community residences. As a Community Services Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring continuity of care, coordination of treatment plans, and fostering relationships with healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Primary nurse for a caseload of community residents.
- Provide skilled nursing care and interact with staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Facilitate interdisciplinary teamwork and staff training.
- Document health care according to regulations.
- Review records, coordinate care, and respond to crises.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and staff meetings.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Assist with staffing coverage and on-call responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
- 1 year of experience with developmental disabilities.
- Valid New Jersey RN license and driver's license.
