Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care - Med/Surg/Tele - PRN

Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute Care - Med/Surg/Tele team on a PRN basis at Denver Health. As a member of the 6A Medical/Surgical unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess the needs of individuals, families, and communities to identify health or safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate patient records and reports.
• Monitor and report patient symptoms, vital signs, and condition changes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan and implement patient care.
• Administer nursing care, medications, and treatments.
• Promote positive patient experiences and outcomes.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• Less than 1 year of experience, with direct patient care experience preferred.
• Valid BLS and RN licenses required.
• Knowledge of professional nursing practices and standards.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in using medical equipment and Microsoft Office Suite.
