Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Registered Nurse (RN) - Maternal Child Float to join our dedicated team at Denver Health. As a member of our Nursing Staffing Office Float Pool, you will have the opportunity to work across various in-patient areas and the Emergency Department, ensuring quality patient care and promoting excellence in healthcare consumer safety.

Responsibilities

• Assess the needs of individuals, families, and communities to identify potential health or safety problems.
• Maintain accurate patient records and reports.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition and vital signs.
• Develop and modify patient care plans based on patient responses and conditions.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Administer nursing care and medications to patients.
• Promote a positive patient experience.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and RN (Registered Nurse) certifications.
• Strong adherence to professional nursing standards and ethical practices.
• Proficiency in using medical equipment and instruments.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in emergency situations.
