Job Description
We are searching for a dedicated Sales Consultant to join Auto Centers and contribute to our team. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for selling new and used vehicles, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a seamless buying experience for our clients.
Essential Job Functions
- Greet customers, determine their vehicle preferences, and guide them through the sales process.
- Explain vehicle features, conduct demonstrations, and suggest optional equipment to enhance the purchase.
- Calculate sales prices, including taxes, trade-in values, and financing details, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
- Prepare sales contracts, handle payment processing, and coordinate vehicle delivery and registration.
- Utilize computer databases to research vehicle availability and specifications.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the sales team and dealership operations.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage customer inquiries and feedback effectively.
- Strong oral communication skills to engage with customers, present product information, and participate in team meetings.
- Business acumen with a focus on profitability, market knowledge, and competitive awareness.
- Ethical conduct, punctuality, initiative, motivation, and professionalism in all interactions and tasks.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and interpreting business documents along with basic math and reasoning abilities.
Preferred Education/Experience
Associate's degree or equivalent experience in sales or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with automotive sales is a plus.
Work Environment
