Job Description: School-Based Occupational Therapist (2024-2025)

We are seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist to join Thrive Therapies Group for the 2024-2025 academic year. As part of our mission-driven team, you will work with students with disabilities, collaborating with school partners, parents, and practitioners to provide the highest level of care and support for student success.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate student needs, develop intervention plans, and adjust strategies based on outcomes.
• Design and implement 504 and IEP goals, leading relevant meetings with parents and educators.
• Provide professional development to increase the efficacy of interventions and support traditional educators.

Requirements:

• Possess a National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and an active TN State license.
• Background check clearance prior to employment.

Bonus Points For:

• K-12 school-based experience.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or neurodiverse gifts.
• Fluency in a global language, particularly Spanish, Somali, or Arabic.
