Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Senior Associate Application Engineer to join Discover Financial Services, a leading digital banking and payments company. In this role, you will be responsible for programming features and test cases, working on high-visibility customer experiences in web and mobile applications, and accelerating your technical knowledge by collaborating with engineering teammates.

- Complete features and user stories independently
- Learn advanced software engineering practices and contribute to agile ceremonies
- Participate in system design decisions and support production systems
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 1+ years of experience in Information Technology or Software Engineering
- Technical proficiency rating of advanced beginner
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Agile, React Native/ReactJS, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of object-oriented principles and software testing methodologies
