Job Description
Discover Financial Services is seeking a talented individual to join as a Senior Associate Cybersecurity Engineer focusing on Endpoint Security. In this role, you will contribute to the engineering roadmap, design secure systems, applications, and technical projects to ensure compliance with regulatory and risk requirements. You will be actively involved in managing cybersecurity solutions, optimizing programs, dealing with vulnerabilities, and analyzing operational risks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop engineering specifications for security, compliance, and assurance efforts.
- Assist in designing security solutions in alignment with business goals.
- Validate current and future architectural models to assess impacts on Cybersecurity systems.
- Ensure compliance with audit, regulatory, and legal requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with peers, partners, and vendors.
- Drive research innovation and continuous monitoring of security threats.
- Correlate incident data to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in Information Security, Application Security, or Security Engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in scripting, coding, and automation tools.
- Knowledge of multiple operating systems and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with automating workloads and common security threats.
- Expertise in Endpoint Security solutions such as EDR, EPP, HBFW.
